spacing music with 4/4 and 12/8 measures, two staves with independent time, note spacing, don't work at all? I use Finale 2003 Mac / There is something to change in spacing music options ?

This is a bug. It exists in Finale since version 2000a. Two possible workarounds:
(1) Do the piece in an older version of Finale, if you've got one.
(2) Don't use actual independent time signatures: enter everything in 4/4, using triplets without bracket or number for the 12/8 passage, then use the independent time signature function simply to be able to change the display time signature of the appropriate staves to 12/8.

In any case, write to MacSupport@MakeMusic.com to ask that this bug be attended to.
