I was wondering why Finale generated Smp files cannot be added to the home screen under "What We Are Playing" Also I understand for copyright purposes screenshots of student submitted work can't be fully displayed but I would think the Finale generated SMP files should be allowed to be fully displayed as a screenshot for documentation and evaluation purposes. I know other people have mentioned this but I will addd my two cents and say that it would be great to able to export a mp3 finale generated Smp file as a Smart music accompaniment.

Thanks,

Doug

Using SmartMusic Gradebook, (http://www.gradebook.smartmusic.com), I've been able to click on the image of student performance (red/green/black notes) and open another window--and to right click to save.

Do you want to save the audio recording from SmartMusic? I guess I'm not following. You can also have a student e-mail you a mp3 of a recording as well before they hit "submit."

And any mp3 file can be brought into SmartMusic as an assessment (or used as accompaniment).

Perhaps I'm not following you...if not, can you clarify?
