Greetings,

I downloaded the Mozart k.285 flute quartet that just added to the smartmusic library.

The sound of the string instruments is great, and I was wondering if these are real intsrument players or VST instruments(like Garrittan).

Generally, the instruments we hear in smartmusic are VST instruments?

Have a nice day!

Hello Yasthan,

Welcome to the SM forum!

Virtually all of the ensemble content in SmartMusic uses professional recordings, not VST instruments.

This particular recording was made specifically for use in SmartMusic.

Have you checked out the playback options in this piece that allow you to play back with various instruments turned off?
