I can't get multimeasure rest to work ever since upgrading to Finale 2014.5. Attached is an example of a song I'm working on that I nead that needs that function in the very beginning.
Any ideas of what I'm missing here??

There are some hidden items in one of the staves, so if you clear out everything (highlight the measure stack and select "Clear All Items"), then reapply the MMR, you should be able to get your MMR to work.

Also remember that MMRs can only be formed with the default measure rest, so if there are real measure rests in the selection, they won't be included.
