I'm a seasoned programmer looking to get into plug-in development to automate some strange and mundane tasks (or at least to poke around and see what plug-in development entails). I haven't been able to find any obvious place to acquire a development kit, though. There's an article in the knowledge base that says the PDK is under development, and that I should click a notify button, but no notify button is present.

I'm running Finale 2010. (How) can I get started developing plug-ins?

Thanks!

Quite a few people have been asking about plug-in development lately, but all signs point to MM keeping silent on the subject. I think they have withdrawn the old PDKs. Hopefully, they are rewriting it to be simpler and easier. It was, to say the least, quite obfuscated.
Your best bet is to submit a request directly to MM in the usual way.

Hopefully, the more people that request, the better.
