The MM site seems to be the only site that doesn't remember my password on return. This isn't much of a problem but it does occur on two different computers using two different operating systems. I wondered if this was a feature, a bug, or just something in the way I've set up things.

It's you. It's your browser which stores passwords, not the sites.

That's what I thought. Of course, I've told both browsers to store the login stuff. This is the only site that fails. I'll check for some weird setting, though it's not much of a problem anyway.

Specifically, it's COOKIES that are used. If you have a cookie manager, or have turned off cookies for some reason, then the forum won't automatically log you in.

In Firefox, at least, it's a different mechanism from cookies. See Tools->Options->Security.
