How do I make a Smart Music Assessment File on Finale?  I have tried several times, I keep receiving an error message  --- Error-200 Writing Midi.

What am I doing wrong.  I guess I could bypass the whole thing and just use the FPA, but I really want to use Smart Music.

Hmmm... I've never seen that one before. Go ahead and send an e-mail to customer support or call them up. They'll be around for another 2 hours tonight if you want to call now.

Windows XP, all updates

Are you using 8.4 or 8.5? Creating files that assess through SM only works with 8.5. Are you also using Finale 2005? If you are using both newest versions, select (SmartMusic Wizard) from the Finale Launch screen and follow the steps there.

Happy Assessing
