Is there any tricks for installing a sound font bank in Finale? Thank you

You don't actually add a Soundfont to Finale. You can add an instrument list--this info is in the Finale Help File.
What you first need is a soundcard. Soundblaster will let you use RAM based soundfonts. Higher end soundcards can use GigaStudio which uses Hard Drive Soundfonts. RAM soundfonts are anywhere from free (generally low to acceptable quality) to costing a few bucks. Fluid is the best (my opinion only). You will need a T1 connection to download it though.
GigaStudio uses rather expensive soundfonts, but they are much much better than RAM based ones--mostly. If you buy the low end GigaStudio you will get some sample soundfonts which are helpful.
There is also a thing call Halion which I don't know anything about.
Now, what you do, is put your Finale Instrument list together (remember, the help file?). Then you load the soundfont into the software provided by the soundcard. Hit the Play button and off you go.
Ahem---but but but, you can do all this and nothing will happen. What I mean, is that although it's all terribly simple, in the beginning it looks like a foreign language spelled backwards. So......
Until you get your information together I suggest you surf the net and see what is available. It's confusing until you understand it. Start cheap and when you finally know something, you can raise the quality.
The type of sound card determines everything. With Soundblaster Live! the software is there and you can figure things out.
I have no experience with most soundcards. (I'm not sure if Audigy works with older soundfonts yet).
To put it bluntly, it took me around 2-3 years to figure all this out. I suggest you go to Google and start searching for information. There's a lot of it.
