How do you change the distance between two staffs ( not system ) and also how do you change the distance of a lyric from a staff, thanx.

To change the distance between two staves, select the Page Layout tool and go to Page Layout> Optimize Staff Systems. Select the range of systems you want to optimize and click OK. Now switch to the Staff Tool. The optimized staves will have two handles, one on the top line and one on the bottom line. Click the bottom one and you can move this staff individually of any others.
