HI,
I can't seem to find a straight or simple
answer for the following in the help
documentation: I am creating a guitar duo
score and parts, and want the score
dynamics placed between the staves -
easy enough; however, I need the
dynamics to appear in both of the
extracted parts. Is there a way to do this
where I don't have to a.) enter them as
score expressions, extract parts, then
re-do the score, or b.) attach the marking
to one part, extract, and then add them to
in, again, to the other part?
I know there must be a way to do this, but
I can't seem to find it.
Thanks, in advance. As always, you are
all very helpful.

Use measure-attached expressions and attach to the top staff. In the Measure Expression Assignment dialog box, choose Staff List, New Staff List. Define the staff list so the expression shows on the top staff in the score and on both staves in the parts.

Many thanks. Honestly, I did read about
this - but was unable to make it work; your
solutions is a bit different than the info I
found. Any suggestions as to where I
might read up on this?

Thanks again,

Anons suggestion should work. Just make sure your expressions are measure-attached. You can check this at the bottom of the Expression Selection dialog box. You also might want to check Options/Document Settings/Document Options and make sure "Display Expressions for Extracted Parts" is NOT checked. This will ensure that the expression will only show up where you have defined it to appear in the score from the measure expression assignment staff list.
