Fin 25 is coming here this week.
Is there a single source for info on the changes I've been reading here about?
Maybe a List with the old way and new way spelled out?

Wait a second. Where are most of those "crash" problems from? I have yet to encounter any of them. Were those all problems with Finale 2014.5?

Finale (started with ver. 3.0) using 2012 (2014 has been shelved for its lack of support for older Garritan libraries) under Windows 8.1
basically ALL Garritan libraries, plus XSample Chamber Ensemble.

Also Finale v25 must have the most recent up to date Dolet plug in available? I ran the most recent 6.7 again and it did not load into the plugins folder of Finale v25. That or it's not 64bit compliant.?

Finale v25 now includes all the features that were in the Dolet plug-in directly in the File menu, so there is no need for a separate 64-bit plug-in.

That's puzzling... I'm currently evaluating Dorico and tried an export from Finale 25.1 which in Dorico prosented frozen stems. Exporting the file in 2014.5 with the Dolet plugin (v.6) did not exhibit this problem...

(Finale 1.0 (1988) -> v.25) using 2012c & v.25

Is that comparing an export from Dolet 6.8 for Finale 2014.5 with an export from Finale 25.1, both on Mac? I would expect stems to export exactly the same. Could you please PM me or email me the Finale file so I could take a closer look? Thanks!
