HI All~

I am new to SmartMusic . Our Band director has used it for several years, and just this year I thought that it might have enough features to be useful to choir students.

I am using it for 5 choral groups, MS, HS and 1 HS Concert Choir plus 2 theory classes.

This is a question for Choir Directors/ voice teachers:

What features do you use most in SmartMusic?

I plan on using the Sing at First Sight books (used them in class last year) and some rhythm exercises and "building Beautiful Voices" warmups.

I am trying to upload MP3's of Showtrax recordings that I have and MP3s from Carl Fischer of songs that we will sing this fall (not successful yet - they worked when I first uploaded them, now they don't )

What other features would be helpful for choral students?

Thanks in Advance for any tips!

I am using the same two Methods Books.  I am using the student edition.   I have attached a mic and we use it as a class warm-up and sight reading drill.

I would love to see more vocal music available.  I use the Jingle Bells.  Not much to choose from yet.
