Hi all,

I have a problem with setting dynamics
thru the midi tool. The problem is as
follows:

Base key velocity set to 88. For some
reason just 2 bars out of an entire piece
(bars 3 and 4 of the attach.) will not
change to the correct settings. The last 3
semi's of each bar will not move from the
base velocity to match the rest of the bar
(set to 36). I have deleted the bars and
inserted new ones, cleared all entries
and to make the attach, started from
scratch and copied the music across with
the same result. Any suggestions would
be appreciated.

I was unable to duplicate your problem on
either of your files. I didn't find any
dynamics set to "36," but I didn't have any
trouble changing key velocities,
individually or globally. In the past I have
encountered problems with global
dynamic changes, where some notes
just wouldn't go along with the rest. The
only solution I found in those cases was
to reenter the music manually.
