Well guys, it seems I'm in the pound seats on this forum for sharing my experience with Sibelius 7. freaked

A moderator PM'ed me: "...Please refrain from representing your experience with Sibelius 7 as a sales pitch and urging people to switch from Finale to Sibelius..."

I am in awe discovering how emotion influence the ability to judge and debate. Have I EVER "...urging people to switch from Finale to Sibelius."????

I'm NOT an agent of MM or Avid. WHY is my experience with Sib7 seen "...as a sales pitch...". I'm not refering to Sib's feature in order to sell the software! Yet, I'm encouradged to: "...You are free to post your experiences with Sibelius as it compares to Finale..."
Is it at all possible to "...post your experiences with Sibelius as it compares to Finale..." without it being seen as a sales pitch?

Further I'm asked (fairly and always from retaliating in self defence) from: "...refrying from attacking anyone personally..."

Yet, people offend ME:

"...By the way, I find the religious references in your signature offensive and inappropriate for this forum. Please consider removing them..."

"...As to your signature, it's kind of like someone showing up to a neighborhood discussion of what kind of swingset to buy for the children's playground holding a PRAISE THE LORD sign. Nothing to do with swingsets, and makes you look like a fanatic..."

I've been offended many times before in this forum, and not only me but many people who dare to ask questions, but that's to be expected, no doubt.

In conclution, I've complained in recent years about Finale matters while boosting the product here in SA. I've objectively presented my experiences with Sib7 with some comparisons to Finale (which is apparently OK with MM). Yet, as a paying customer, enduring second-hand treatment from both the Software as well as this forum, I'm threatened "...your posts will be deleted and you may be banned from the MakeMusic forum."

What a fantastic company of peolpe! Now feel free to redeem me from this awfull place.

Unfortunately, Hans has lost posting access to the forum. After numerous public and private requests and warnings from myself and Scott to abide by forum rules, Hans chose to continue down this path which resulted in loss of posting privileges, per the following guidelines found in the Forum Policy, linked below:

• Vituperative criticism of forum moderators regarding decisions made in the administration of this forum.
• Solicitation of outside products.
• Repeated violations of forum policies.

We absolutely do not like to do this, however if repeated warnings are chosen to be ignored and rules repeatedly broken, we will have to remove posting privileges and forum access.
