I know that I'm behind the times, but I've got a quick question. I've got both Finale 2006 and Garritan's COMB 2, but I cannot make the two sync together. Nowhere can I find if these two programs are compatible. I know I've seen that Finale 2006 can use other libraries, but I cannot make this one work.

Finale 2006 used Garritan's GPO with the original Kontakt player, Aria wasn't even invented yet. It wasn't until Finale 2009 that Finale allowed any samples to be used within Finale. That might explain why COMB is not showing up as an option. You might want to ask MM support about this too.

I'm not even certain you can use COMB 2 with the Kontakt player.

Probably not.  COMB 2 probably uses the open standard SFZ format for defining the sounds.  I cannot confirm this because I don't have it, but if it's like the GPO4, which I do own, that is the way it is defined.  You can load SFZ files into the ARIA player.  Kontakt 5, a freeware product, uses a different type of file, probably their own proprietary format.  All Kontakt libraries probably use the same format.  You cannot load SFZ files into Kontakt, only their own NKI files.
