Hi,
now I can put pictures in the archive finale, but I get an error message: "Finale does not suport placing of LZW compressed TIFF files". What can I do?

Save the TIFFs without LZW compression!

Any decent image viewer/editor that can save different image formats should do this.

Irfanview is free and works well. Lets you view and save in more formats than I've heard of.

One more thing to keep in mind --- Finale stores only the location of an image, not the image itself. So, if you, for example, move the image to another folder Finale will not be able to find it and put it in your Finale document. I assume this is true of all versions.

That doesn't appear to be the case in F2010.

This isn't true in recent versions of Finale anyway. You can link your image to a folder on your HD, or you can embed the image in the Finale file. Although embedding it can greatly increase the file size.

Hello,
I'm sorry but I have been blocked Finale! I have deleted all the images that were inserted and the message "Finale does not support ..." exits at all times with every movement you make. I might say if it is possible to remove the problem or is that I have been damaged the file?
Thanks
