I have a directory of Encore files (version 4.21?) and I wan't to import them to Finale and save as MusicXML format. It will take ages to do this one by one, since there are over 1000 files, so does Finalescript offer any faster solution? Some kind of "batch import and convert"?

For over 4 months your unanswered question has been the most recent topic in the FinaleScript forum.

What does that tell us about the status of this plug-in? Isn't it about time someone at MM (Robert P?) either began some more work on it, or admitted publically that it's a dead duck that won't be revived or replaced?

For your information, Finalescript and Text Search and Replace are being given a significant update in Finale2008 'a'.
So to answer your doubt, Brian, no, it is not dead, although it's true you could think it was neglected for the initial release of Finale2008.

As far Encore files, there is no support in Finalescript yet for importing them quickly. I'll keep this in mind. Thanks.
