I'm having trouble with my installation of Finale 2001a (Mac). It asks for inserting original CD, which i do, but then it just don't see it, and no program running because of key disk not found.

Art,
I remember something about not proceeding - clicking OK to the message - until the Finale CD is visible on the desktop. Try that.

Hi,
If you're running Finale in Classic mode,
you may need to make sure your CD
extension is enabled in your Classic
extension set. Usually you disable it
because OS X handles the CDs, but
Classic probably won't be able to
recognize CDs without it. However,
Classic still may not recognize the CD
even if the extension is enabled because
those functions might be reserved by OS
X. If enabling the CD extension doesn't
do the trick, reboot into OS 9 and validate
Finale from there and then go back to OS
X.
