I am a beginner in composition so i find it difficult to use and understand Finale Notepad 2005. I was also wondering if i can convert midi files to the .mus files? - and how do i do this. Also any good websites where i can try some pieces of music step by step or preferably some known  pop music.

Upgrade to NotePad Plus, and you will get MIDI export and import.
