Garritan acoustic guitar seems to have developed a glitch. For some reason it has decided to automatically arpeggiate all chords, for example, if I write a 5 note chord it plays as if there is a squiggly line before the chord. I have been writing this piece for a number of weeks now - today is the first day of the arpeggiator. Very strange. Any ideas on how I can turn off this uninvited feature?

Regards,

Ed

Without seeing your file, we would just be guessing. The file says all.

Hi Ed,

Check the Human Playback style. Some of them automatically roll chords on plucked string instruments...

Hi Christopher,

Yes that was it - thank you. I had set the Human Playback to 21st Century - considering that my piece more or less in that genre. Obviously it's not. smilewinkgrin

Thanks for you help.

You can customize the 21st Century to have all the other elements, but uncheck the rolled chords.

Hi Zuill,

Thanks for that good information. I have never explored customizing the Human Playback - and it would most likely be to my advantage to do so. When I've finished this piece I'll have a look into that.
