Some programs look fantastic but Finale is very tiny and is virtually unusable. I have lowered the resolution and it hasn't improved things. Anyone have experience with Finale and this 4K Ultra HD display?

It is a workaround that works on my system, but I hope they get things straightened out so we can use the 4kUltraHD in the high resolution mode Hopefully this will help others too:
Answer
There is a known issue on Windows computers with high resolution monitors (Lenovo Yoga, Microsoft Surface Pro, etc) that causes icons and text to display smaller than normal in Finale notation products.
This issue is related to the default high resolution and corresponding DPI (dots per inch) settings on those computers. Our development team is aware of the issue and will be working on a permanent fix, but in the meantime follow the steps below to adjust your display settings.
Change your screen resolution
** Changing the settings below can impact other programs, and should only be changed for use with Finale notation products. Smaller monitors may require a smaller resolution. **
Close any open programs open the Control Panel (icons view), and click on the Display icon Click on Change display settings Click the drop-down for Resolution and lower the resolution of your display. A display resolution in the range of 1280x720 - 1600x900 is recommended. ** These settings may need to be repeated if you have multiple monitors. Click Ok and then click Keep changes open Finale notation products and test the application.
If lowering your display's resolution does not solve the issue then leave the display resolution at the lower value and troubleshoot further based on your operating system.
Windows 10
Change your DPI settings
Close any open programs Hold down your Windows key and press the letter R to open the Run dialog box Type "control panel" (without quotation marks) and press Enter Click the dropdown for View By and choose Small icons Click Display Under Change size of items, click on the set a custom scaling level link Click on the drop-down menu to select a DPI scaling size of 100%, and click on OK Click on Apply If prompted, click on Sign out now to apply Sign into your account, then open Finale notation products and test the application
In the event that changing both your display resolution and your DPI settings does not produce the desired results, please contact Customer Success. Rick Neal Teacher, composer, bassist, guitarist
