Yesterday I sent a very hastily written letter to the forum. unfortunately I did not proofread it adequately before hitting SUBMIT.
I then wrote a second letter where I cleaned up all my mistakes. I don't see either one of my letters on the forum. My question was: does a Windows user need to install the updates to Finale 2014, since they seem to be written only to address problems incurred by Mac users.

You've posted this twice, so I'll respond to the latest one. Yes, there were a number of issues affecting PC users that were addressed in the upgrades to Finale 2014. In fact, Finale 2014.5 on my PC appears to be a stable and very useable product and I've seen none of the issues affecting Mac users (and annoying minor glitches were fixed in the PC version). Check out the readme files for a complete list of bug fixes on both platforms.
