The click track is set at 40 bpm on the slider, but it plays at 41.45 bpm, which means I can't use my 'peterson bodybeat synch' metronome at 40 bpm. Not good. And it's not likely to be a latency issue, as Smartmusic is AHEAD of reality! (That's not marketing speak either...) My pc is far above the minimum system requirements, and no other audio software is running. I looked through the 'latency and drift' links, and found nothing that applied. And Smartmusic's interface doesn't flag up any issues anyway.
Is this a problem anyone else has come across? Do people just put up with it? If the timing difference is predictable, I can 'spreadsheet' the variation and reset my metronome to match Smartmusic, but I'd rather not have to.
Thanks,
