Since upgrading from Win XP to Win 10, I can't get Finale 2014.5 to "talk" to my MIDI keyboard, a Roland Sound Canvas SK 50.
Do I need new drivers or what? I've been using Finale and PrintMusic before it for over 10 years. This is very frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated.

How is it connected to the computer?

Hey Zuill,
I got a message that said you had replied, but I can't read it.
What did you say?

Hey Zuil,
I have a UM-one USB MIDI interface connected from a USB 2 port on the computer to a pair of 5-pin In and Out sockets on the Roland.

Derek,
I couldn't read your message.
I seem to be one message behind in being able to read messages. This is wierd!

With the 5 pin plugs, make sure the in is connected to the out, and the out to the in.

Again, I can't read the comments. Something is clearly wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.

Yes, rebooting is always a good option.
I have tried that several times.
Any other ideas?

What I suggested is to make sure out goes to in and in goes to out.
