Okay.  I recieved a free 30-day trial disk for Smart Music yesterday from my band director.  I installed it on my computer, only to have it be rendered useless hours later.  I had to reboot it, thus erasing Smart Music.  I wasn't able to deactivated before I did this.  Is there any way to use the one I have without getting another CD with a new code?  It won't let me use the same activation code, nor will it let me use my login info.

I've sent a note to customer support for you. They should be able to find your account and reset it for you. If someone is in the office on the weekend, they may be able to do it sooner, but otherwise it will probably happen on Monday. Once it is reset you should be able to activate again.

I'm curious - you say you rebooted the computer? Turning the computer on and off shouldn't cause that problem. More major changes like reinstalling Windows or changing the hardware can.

Windows XP, all updates
