I've just installed Finale 2010. For the past few years I've been using Finale 2008 and have numerous files created with that program (yes, I realise I can open them easily with Finale 2010!). 
I would like to get rid of Finale 2008 and transfer all my old files to Finale 2010, and have been told that by using Finalescript I can convert a folder of files to a more recent version of the program. Exactly what do I have to do to accomplish this?
Until now, I didn't even know that Finalescript existed, and even after opening the plug-in and going to 'Convert folder of Files to the current Finale Format', I am no wiser. I'd greatly appreciate some help here. The alternative would seem to be merely moving my folders from Finale 2008 to Finale 2010, even if this means that each file will have to be saved individually in the newer version when I eventually access it.

Well you have to assign the Folder and sub-folders where your files are for one thing. The pre-made script will actually "save as" you files separately with the "_conv" at the end of the file name. you can leave that as you want. You can also select a diferent folder to save them to, and can take out the file name ending. Or even save over the files you have.
