recently upgraded to Fin 25...On the score manager under device lists "missing" where I need to find "Garritan"...gives me the option of soft-synth, but that doesn't sound either...I have removed and reinstalled the "bundle" repeatedly, but still the same...Whatever path the instruments take to Finale is not working...Installed with all the default options............HELP

I followed the first part of your post with no success...as for the configuration, that has me typing in Finale 2014a a couple times, which seems inapplicable...could switch to Fin. 25 or 25.1 but am uncertain which I have just upgraded to...When I ordered the upgrade my understanding was that they would send it on a disc but instead I was directed to an internet download...I have a very slow satellite internet service out here and it took forever to download...perhaps something got left out

There is an extra fee for the CD version and you have to specifically ask for it. You should have seen an option to select the CD version.

I thought the new version came on a stick? I think the DVD option is obsolete, as many systems don't even have DVD drives.

whatever it was, I thought that was going to be mailed to me...I'd have gladly paid extra had I read all the details...right now I have an unusable program that crashes my computer every time I try to test it...I even paid for the experience...I'm sure I'll get it going someday

First you complained about missing Garritan sounds. Then you complained the download would take too long and you wanted the program on a mailed device. Now you are complaining that it crashes. I have no idea now what your problem is, but., have you gone to the support pages and read up on whatever problem it is that you are experiencing?

Yes, you have confused the heck out of me. However, that does not solve your problem. I assume that you spent the night downloading Finale 25.1 because it is the only version of Finale you can download. Now, is this the demo version or the full install? I ask because the demo version does not include the Garritan sounds. If it is the full install, did you select the option to install the Garritan instruments? It is optional and is possible you did not select it.

As for crashing, the latest version should not be crashing when you run it. That said, what operating system are you using and does your computer have a 64-bit processor? Finale 25.1 is a 64-bit application and your hardware and operating system have to be 64-bit.
