Hello,

I have two questions.

How do I go about adding gliss. over the glissando symbol in finale 2012; as well as getting it to line up with the angle of the symbol?

How do I go about notating swing as 16th= triplet ( 16, 32)? Finale has a preset Swing! selection but the second I remove anything I lose the triplet bracket and a bunch of black boxes replace the text.

Hopefully this makes sense. It is a little difficult to explain these questions with text without pictures.

This is already one of the choices available in Finale. Click on the smart shape tool, from the pulldown menu at the top, smart shape>smart shape options. You'll see "smart Lines". Just to the right of that is a pulldown menu, choose glissando, then click on Select to the right of that. Scroll down until you see the wavy line with the glissando text added above it. Select it and you're done. This will not change any existing glissando lines which have already been added to your score, but any gliss lines added from this point on will have the gliss text.

I don't quite understand your second question. You can post a picture or finale file using the attachment button under your reply window.
