I hope someone can figure out how to do the following through FS, once a text box is selected and the Edit Frame Attributes dialog box is open:

1.) Access the "Right Page Alignment and Postioning" section (the lower section of the dialog box)
2.) Select "Left" in the Horizontal dropdown area
3.) Type a value into the "V:" and/or "H:" fields in that same section

I've tried everything I can think of including moving around with tabs but I can't get any commands to work in that part of the dialog box.  I am able to select the "All Pages" dropdown in the "Page" area of the "Attach To" area (the upper section of the frame attributes dialog box), as well as enter/change values in the "Alignment and Positioning" area (the middle section of the dialog box) but nothing in the lower section.

It is probably because there are several places in the dialog box where "Horizontal", "V:" and "H:" appear.  The FS documentation says that in such cases a "Neighborhood Specifier" of "Near" must be used.  But I have also tried various possible versions of syntax to accomplish this with no success.  For example, none of the following work:

Dropdown "Left" near "Horizontal:" near "Use Right Page Positioning"
Dropdown "Left" near "Horizontal:" near "Right Page Alignment and Positioning"
Type "-0.70" near "V:" near "Right Page Alignment and Positioning"

If anyone can determine how to do this, I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you,
UCG Musician

Hi !

This works for me:

menu item "text/frame attributes"
check "use right page positioning"
dropdown "left" near "use right page positioning"
Type "-0.70" near "use right page positioning" //for H
Type "-0.99" near "cancel" //for V

By the way, you can't have more than one 'near' command in a row for now. Also, those commands are case-unsensitive, and ignore punctuation.

Thanks, Robert!  That script worked for me, too.
