Hi everyone. Could you help me out please?
question 1: most of the percussions do not sound so high, some nothing at all, even at fff dynamics. How can i change that?
question 2: for a percussion trio i chose all three instruments from PERCUSSION list and some of the instruments example vibraphone,
toms etc are common for all 3 players but i do not want them to be on same line (for various reasons) or other things i do with those common
instruments seem to effect and change the other percussion notation/ place. They are 2 different systems so why does a change in percussion 1
also change the others?!

Thank you, Manini

We might need to see the file to examine the behavior you are describing.

I've had similar issues as your first question, not only with percussion, but many other instruments as well. Here's what MakeMusic told me:

"Concerning the low volume issue in GIFF, I will be the first to admit that the volume for the sounds are incredibly low; however, we may be able to explore some options to increase the volume or find a workaround. However, in order to do so […] we need you to submit a new case. This helps us track issues that our customers are having…"

If you use Garritan Ambience, and set Dry Gain to Max, the volume should be OK
in non-perc Ins.
Perc levels remain low.
