Dear forum,

I would like to ask if someone knows how to set a specific accidental preferences.
The piece is in no particular key, rather atonal, but for easier readfing and correct interval relationships, I would like as general setting to have the E-flat and b-flat as entrance notes and not d-sharp and a-sharp but the same time to have the f-sharp and c-sharp.
It looks that the program prefers sharps or flats. Is there a way on combining the two? I use speedy for note entrance....

Thank you,

ag

In the Finale menu, under Enharmonic Spellings, choose Use Spelling Tables. The options there are edited using the option below that, called Edit Major and Minor Key Spellings. I think what you want (assuming you have set the global key as C major) is #1, #4, but b3, b7.

I hope you are using the full Finale. You really should make your version part of your signature, as suggested in the sticky at the top of this Forum. You can see an example at the end of this message.
