My documents are starting with colors and registration message and all midi preferences are lost and so on; and I can't change it©
Of course I'm already registered, I try to save preferences, but nothing to do©©©
Please an idea

Bernard,
Since you keep getting the registration message, I suggest that you
1. Delete the Finale preferences file.
2. Get the Finale cd and install Finale again.
Of course you will get the registration message the first time you launch Finale after the installation, but once you have entered your serial number, the registration message won't come back. Actually, you will see your serial number displayed in Finale's startup screen, the next time you launch Finale.
For the rest of the problems, try this:
1. Set your Finale prefs, and go to File menu > Save Special > Save Preferences.
2. Options menu > Program Options
UNCHECK Save Preferences When Quitting.
In this way, Finale will not automatically save prefs, every time you quit Finale.
