Regardless of whether I change the name of the song or not, it says "cannot rename file." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling finale, I've tried un-authorizing and re-authorizing finale, and those haven't fixed it. Any thoughts on how I can save again?
Thanks!

The worst is when I realize this after I've x-ed out of the program, and I say "yes" to saving the file, and then it tells me it can't... and then it's gone. Grrrrrrr. | Back to Top | |

It would help if we could see:
a) the full pathname & filename you're trying to save;
b) the full error message you're getting.
I have a few thoughts on possibilities (some already mentioned by other posters), but without the above it would be pure spectulation.
