Any time I hit the "play" button on any file in 2007 I get a crash (We are sorry but Finale 2007 needs to close). If I hit the spacebar and click a measyre it plays fine, but no timer and I need the timer. Why is this crashing? It does even with human playback turned off.

I had this problem with 2oo6 and it was related to my sound card drivers .... FWIW, ;-f

if you reload the driver does it help?

Finale 2006+,Finale 2007
hp pavilion 1.5 gig ram
win xp home service pack 2
Hp Turion 64 laptop
