I want to be able to assign an exercise to my bands and have everybody working on the same key at the same time. That way when I send out a major scale in C, everybody opens up THEIR C. I have created assignments, clicked the more settings option, and made sure that WRITTEN C is indicated. Still, my flutes get C, my alto saxes get A, and my trumpets get D. I'd rather not have to create the same assignment for each individual section as a "work around". What am I doing wrong? This snag is really holding me back from kicking SM to a much higher level in my program. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Brad,

Thanks for writing!  Your steps for those assignments are correct.  It sounds like we will need to do some testing with your Gradebook account to get the As Written scales up and running for you. 

You can Submit a Support Case to us at http://smartmusic.custhelp.com/app/ and we will reply in a business day or less to begin the process.  The As Written feature was something added as a result of requests from Educators, so we want to make sure it is going smoothly.
