In part preparation mode now.

I'd like to be able to copy dashed lines and paste to the bottom of the score without interfering with existing hairpins. Both are smartshapes assigned to beats, so I'm not sure how to do this? Is there a way?

If Jari's plugins were available for v25, you could apply the dashed lines, which might do the job. However, he's still working on them.

This is good to know - since I may have to do all the parts in 2014.5 anyway (since printing to PDF, at least in my version, is really messed up in Fin 25). Will check this.

If possible, you could copy the shape to an adjoining measure and drag it to the desired location, making sure the anchor points travel along.

This can be done with SmartFind and Paint. Attached is a writeup on how to do it.
