Hi Jari,

I'm trying to minimize the amount of sifting through the prompts/options field that I have to do when I've run the scan feature of this plugin.

Would it be too much of a design issue to have an option for this plugin look for changes over a user selectable number of notes in a staff rather than measures. This would be particularly helpful when the cautionary accidental is only meant to show a return to the key signature (as opposed to a sustained pitch alteration).

I currently have it set to look over 2-measure  which generally works out well, however I'm getting a lot of "hits" when an accidental appears at the beginning of one measure and then the note returns unaltered the very end of the second measure.

If the note returns at the beginning of the 2nd measure or there are only a few notes over that 2-measure span (e.g., 4 half notes) then the scan's prompts/options are desirable. But I have constant 1/8 notes and I don't require the warning prompts when the player has played a dozen+ notes since that last accident is so far back. With more notes in between the initial accidental and the cautionary key signature reminder there's less of a need for that cautionary accidental and, for me, no need to be prompted to look at it. For example, in the passage below I definitely want the plugin to prompt me to look at the 4th note had I not put the accidental there but I don't want it to prompt me for the Bb at the end of the last measure.

In the example below I wouldn't need a reminder accidental in the first measure but would love to have JW Accidentals prompt me to consider one for the end of the second measure (especially if the 1/16ths were non-scalar and/or the music not so diatonic).

Assuming no cross relational harmonies, I think such cautionary accidentals are needed because of how many notes the player has played since the last accidental (not necessarily the number of measures or seconds they've played).
