Hello all,

It's been a long time since I last used this list!

A long time ago (Finale 2004), I would use Jari's Forza! Plugin to move all text blocks from one file to another, or from one page to another. Since then, I've done it by hand, but now (Finale 2011) I have this bunch of Finale files (about 300!) to reformat to a new layout!

So the question is: Is there any plugin (or funcionality) for Finale 2011 which would work as that Excelent Text Block Manager I used to have in Forza! Plugin? Or at least, is there a way of applying a standard layout (text boxes, mainly) to other files?

Thanks in advance!

The Forza! plugin was a Windows only plugin, as I recall. Jari has commented that he might revive some of the features of that multi-faceted plugin in the future. Right now, I don't know of a way to copy text blocks.

Yes - TG Tools full version: Modify > Transfer > Objects > Page text

You can try it free for 30 days. It hasn't been updated since 2010 but still works like a charm.

Great! Thank you, Philip! In fact, I'm a TGtools registered user! Just never noticed this option! :D

Cheers,
