Is it possible to use other notation programs to create "smart accompaniments?" Some other optioins I'm thinking of are Note Pad, Print Music etc (from the makers of Finale) or others such as Sibelus. Are any of these valid or does it have to be the "real" Finale?

Thanks.

It has to be a Finale-family product. PrintMusic has the capability to export to SmartMusic accompaniments, but the free NotePad doesn't. If you want to create assessment files, only Finale 2005 has this feature.
