Hello all - I am desperately trying to get a few of my finale files from my old iMac to my new PC. The PC won't open .mus files or midi files generated by F2000 on the Mac....

any suggestions?

Jake,

What error messages are you getting? I have done a number of MIDIs on my Mac with Nightingale. When I save them as MIDI, they have a .SMF suffix, and they won't work on the PC. but, if I change that to .MID, it works. Go figure...

Did the same thing, it told me it wasn't a valid file type.

It turns out that it was a problem with the files being compressed by stuffit expander. macbinary stuff.
