Hi All,
Finale 2012c is now available for download in our Downloads Library for both Windows and Mac. Please follow the link below.
Finale 2012c includes bug fixes for warnings when deleting Expressions, issues with the Setup Wizard on non-English language user accounts (WIN), and problems copying and pasting smart-lines.

| Posted 9/19/2012 9:50 AM (GMT -6) | | | I didn't see any mention in the Read Me, but upon brief testing, the sticking note bug with multicore processors seems to be gone. If I check Set Affinity all processors are being used by Finale but in the 5 minutes I tested it I didn't have any sticking notes. If so, that's a good fix! | | Back to Top | |

| Posted 9/19/2012 4:40 PM (GMT -6) | | Be careful with updating the Aria player. One link I found was for the Aria Player, newest version 1.504. The other, 6.something, is for the Aria engine. I'm not updating the engine alone until MM sorts out which Aria update is which.

Or, maybe it is because no interface changes were made? Only fixes? Not a big deal, but I was hoping the documentation would also be updated, and some of the erroneous information corrected. I guess I'm asking for too much.
I should be gratefuel the Smart Shape bugs were fixed. And also, the delete expression warning bug is fixed.

Expressions
• The Delete Element dialog box now always appears when deleting an expression from the Expression Selection dialog box that exists in the score.
Setup Wizard
• The Setup Wizard is now available when the computer’s account name is in a language other than English.
Smart Shapes
• Custom smart-lines now copy and paste properly.
• The Delete Element dialog box now always appears when deleting a custom smart shape from the Smart Line Selection dialog box that exists in the score.

Another 2012c bug that I just discovered is that ALT dragging an expression (to maintain an attachment point) works if you use a mouse, but doesn't if you use the arrow keys to fine tune the positioning. I have no idea if this was in the release version, but it works fine in 2011.
does not work in 2012b either.
