Hey guys,
I am a graphic designer in texas and i have a problem, one of my clients has asked me to make a multi-page pdf origional for a 550 some odd paged music book for the classes he teaches, I have virtually no experience with the program that he supplied the music in (finale 2000) and i am wondering if one of the more experienced users could shed just enough light onto the subject so i can get this contract out on time.
Really all i need is a batch distiller solution for a multi-page pdf output, or a simple import solution so i can import the files into seperate pages and then run them to distiller...any help would be MUCH useful.
Thx

I use Acrobat essentials to make pgf files of my music. My largest file to date is 56 pages. 550 seems like a lot.

So.... does he have several hundred odd finale files that he wants to make into a single PDF file?

I do know that Adobe Acrobat turns .mus files into pdf files. How to get them all into one pdf file is something that probably can be done, but I don't know how.

A second note i am familiar with distiller, but to manually distill 550 pages is...well vastly time consuming, i am not sure how to speed this process *shrugs*

All--

First off, this is a forum for the FinaleScript Plug-in, not general Finale use. I would recommend posting your query to the regular Finale boards.

I've done this in the past, it's actually pretty simple.

I would select Adobe PDF as your printer in the print dialog for all the files, this will effectively distill them.

Open the first file in Acrobat.

In the File menu, (I think--I don't have Acrobat in front of me right now--I just had a major hard drive meltdown) there's a command to insert a PDF.
