How do I get the Garritan voices to appear in the Kontackt player? I've got my Jazz & Big Band voices working fine, but orchestral voices are AWOL.

Help, please, if you can.

Thanks!

GPO instruments no longer use the Kontakt player--they use the Aria player.

Thanks for responding, Ron. So, it's no longer possible to use JABB voices and GPO voices in the same arrangement?

You can still use the Kontact player. You need to copy the KontactPlayer2.dll file (or what Kontact version you are using) into your "Finale 2010/FinaleVST" folder. On restarting Finale, you should see "KontactPlayer 2" as a VST instrument.

Cheers,

Tim

You can use both simultaneously. Load GPO instruments into Aria and load JABB into the Kontakt player. You can even have a bank of SoftSynths if you want. The easiest way it to let the Setup Wizard do it for you. I frequently mix GPO (Aria), JABB and CaMB (Kontakt) in the same work.
