Neither the keyboard shortcuts nor any of the Close buttons seem to work for me. 13" MacBook Pro 2.8 Ghz. I'm running Yosemite, but if it's the same in El Capitan, this is totally unacceptable. Like Wess, I'm also experiencing a slowness and lagging, which seems to have more to do with the length of a session than the file size.
Back to Finale 2014 for me. 13" MacBook Pro 2.8 Ghz. It's a crucial addition to Finale for many users and the idea of loosing such a tool is a nightmare. All you efforts around playback make you loose from sight that Finale should be a "better" notation oriented program before anything else !
