Anyone else having trouble with the latest version of TG-Tools in Finale 2014.5? Neither the keyboard shortcuts nor any of the Close buttons seem to work for me.

The same is with me... ESC does not close the window.
As some of our colleague spotted (Vaughan I think) space plug in does not work properly well. Only on first beat.

Finale 2014 and earlier...

TGTools special keys for align might work once or twice with opt-cmd-"*" or opt-cmd-"-" but opt-cmd-"+" breaks it for the session.

This is a deal breaker for me. Back to 2014. At least the files still open in that version.

Some of the options in the TGTools windows are non-selectable. For example, the options 'beginning','middle' and 'end' for the Add/Remove Space in Measure plugin are stuck in the last-used setting and can't be changed. In the cues plugin you can't select the instrument to get the cue. And it's true: you can't close the windows by any other means than clicking the red close button. Very sad!

Good to know I'm not alone.
I wonder if it is the same regardless of operating system. I'm running Yosemite, but if it's the same in El Capitan, this is totally unacceptable. Like Wess, I'm also experiencing a slowness and lagging, which seems to have more to do with the length of a session than the file size.

Back to Finale 2014 for me.

The Align/Move function don't work properly also.
I can select just the "to the nearest element. :(

Have you any idea, how can I substitute this plug in? It is a very important function for the alignment.

We have an updated Align/Move plug-in available here
This update restores the keyboard shortcuts to the Align/Move plug-in that ships with Finale.

Why doesn't MM buy TG Tools ?
It's a crucial addition to Finale for many users and the idea of loosing such a tool is a nightmare.
All you efforts around playback make you loose from sight that Finale should be a "better" notation oriented program before anything else !

I contacted Tobias earlier this year and he said he was working on a fix. I'm guessing TGTools isn't paying his rent to any great extent and he has more important things to do, unfortunately.

I was also in touch with Tobias recently and he said he was working on a paid update. It's about time he charged for his work!
