whenever i use slash notation & cut time, i only get 2 slashes per bar instead of the standard 4. Anyone know a way around it?

Thanks!

Some folks might say that there really should be only 2 slashes per measure in 2/2, only two beats per measure, since you count half notes.

However, you can get what you want by changing the "real time signature" to 4/4, and by using 2/2 as "display time signature":
In the dialog box Time Signature, click the button "More Choices".

Peter,

Thank you very much for the help. I was trying to do that the other way around.
