| Posted 10/7/2016 2:23 PM (GMT -6) |   | I've used Finale for years, but never tried Hyperscribe. I'm having trouble getting it to start.
I use a MIDI keyboard (an old Roland SK50) and Finale windows 4.5. After I have followed
the instructions as I understand them, I get a beat, but when I start playing on the keyboard
nothing happens. I have always used the keyboard for inputting notes one at a time using the
MIDi keyboard for the notes, and the computer keyboard for the rhythmic values. The appropriate
MIDI settings should be right, but still Finale doesn't seem to recognize the MIDI input.
Can someone help me troubleshoot this application?
