First of all Finale is a great piece of software. I am running the latest Finale 2002 and have been a user since 1997. There is one little bug in the lyric tool that kind of frustrates me. When moving in an out of lyric tool quite often I will specify the verse/chorus/section that I want to use, enter one syllable, and then the system will flip it back to verse 1, This seems to be independent of whether I specify before or after I enter Click Assignment. The bug has been around for a while. Any suggestions.

It's a know bug, and it's a potentially dangerous one too.

The best suggestion I can make is to maintain a constant awareness of which verse or chorus or section you're in. It always happens after the first syllable, so at least you know when to expect it...

Cheers.
