I'm trying to make a Finalescript that would process all documents, select measure tool,
select a specific measure, select item menu "Edit Measure Attributes", and modify barline (to double barline)
and check Break a Multimeasure Rest option. The script only runs as far as opening the menu item "Edit Measure Attributes".
Is there a way to modify barline and check the Break a Multimeasure Rest option?

select double barline/ select barline 12 (DOESN'T WORK)

Well, by reading the last few posts I guess nobody will help me.

I thinks the Finalescript Forum is dead. And MakeMusic Support wont tell you how to write a script either. They should at least tell us when something is not possible. Maybe ask on the main Forum.

I suspect that the reason nobody has responded to your post is that they don't know the answer.  So don't feel bad.  I say this because I just discovered Finalescript myself, and have just begun to explore it's potential.  I suspect that it is very limited.  It's MakeMusic's attempt to include it's own macro feature.  The little bit I've read leads me to believe that it was quite quickly added to the program the first year (2004) it was offered, and they haven't done anything, or little, to it, since.  (Not to sound too cynical.)  I am still working with 2004, and am finding it does only basic things, and not the more sophisticated gestures like learning keystrokes.  The documentation is very sparse and cryptic.  We are pretty much on our own.

Good luck!

Bob M.

Too bad, I really liked some of Finalescript's capabilities.
