Hello, this is my first post here and I'm very new to finale in general so i appreciate the help. I'm arranging a piece for wind band and when I extract the parts, no matter for which instrument i do, they all stop at measure 77 and a good chunk of the music is cut off. There's just a double bar line as if the piece is finished. I assume I pressed a button at some point to toggle this on but I have no idea what button it could be. Help would be much appreciated. I'm using finale 2014 by the way.

It's probably that Finale thinks it has created multimeasure rests, but they are actually full of music. Go to one of the menus (Edit? One of the left-most menus; I'm not near Finale right now) and find Multimeasure Rests at the bottom. Select Create In All Parts and it will most likely solve the problem (it also un-creates where necessary with this command). You may have to update layout (command-U) or it might be done automatically, depending on your settings.

P.S. Are you really extracting the parts? I wouldn't unless absolutely necessary. Linked parts leave everything in one file which the parts are dynamically linked to the score. Perhaps you're already doing this but just in case you're not, make sure you look up the help on linked parts.
