Zuill
P.S.: After further testing, changing the MIDI velocity to a lower amount made no difference. "When all is said and done, more is said than done."

Zuill
P.S.: Some stuff in this file not quite working. Also, using an external sound device might be why you unchecked Send Patches Before Play. However, within Finale it was needed so I checked it. You might not need to have every staff on a different channel for the Roland, but for Finale, it solves the problems. "When all is said and done, more is said than done."

Also, what I had to do with your revised file takes seconds in Finale 2014. It took me a half hour in 2011. I'm so glad I no longer use 2011.

With further tinkering I discover that the problem is to do with dynamic variations. If you put in a crescendo, it starts from ZERO. If I EXCLUDE dynamics from playback (very irritating) then the file plays OK. It seems that the less information you give it to process, the better it behaves. | Back to Top | |

I don't think you looked at my file. In it, I reassigned every staff to a unique channel. That seemed to have mitigated the problem.

You have been a GREAT help, and I am sorry - I didn't realise that you had fixed the file for me.
